Attention: Due to Covid rules, the art installation „for distance“ on Simonhöhe will take place without an audience. We are in the 3rd lockdown. We strictly adhere to the rules of the federal government.

„for distance“ on January 5th, 2021
„For Distance – the Covid Geometry“ ensures world-wide health –
A colorful art project to strengthen the awareness for keeping your distance.
With Covid Geometry, we are entering into a new age. Instead of having to follow dark and strict pandemic restrictions long term, this new art form is supposed to make the rules of keeping one’s distance normal.
Usually art excites, sparks interest, differentiates or is misun-derstood. „For Distance“ with its Covid geometry, on the oth-er hand, stimulates a new social behavior. If distance is main-tained, there will no longer be a race at the supermarket checkout to see who can get to it first, because no one will be pushing their way in.
Thus, the art project „for distance“ is at the service of society and its health. By applying colorful patterns at intervals of 8 meters and fields of 4 square meters, no one can get infected with this distance regulation.
On January 5, 2021, 160 different geometric fields will be sprayed by graffiti artists with food paints on a ski slope measuring 400 x 50 meters, on a snow field of 20,000 square meters on the “Simonhöhe” in Carinthia. In the center of the fields 123 life-size figures are placed. The whole forms a poet-ic sculpture park and results in the largest art installation of the year.
„For Distance®“ is the basis for possible projects in public spaces, on large squares, in stadiums, on parking lots at shopping malls, airports, trade fair halls and the like, where generous distance is to be achieved in a likeable and self-explanatory manner. Artists design the fields and thus an infi-nite number of patterns are created, which span the surfaces like a tapestry.
The world premiere of „For Distance®“ is a greeting full of joy of life, hope and reason to the whole world.

„for distance – die covid-geometrie“ sorgt für weltweite Gesundheit –
Ein buntes Kunstprojekt stärkt das Bewusstsein für das Abstandhalten
Mit der Covid-Geometrie gleiten wir in ein neues Zeitalter. Anstatt dunklen und strengen Pandemie-Auflagen auf Dauer folgen zu müssen, soll die neue Kunstform die Regeln des Abstandshaltens zur Normalität bringen.
Üblicherweise regt Kunst auf, interessiert, differenziert oder wird missverstanden. „for distance“ mit seiner Covid-Geometrie regt hingegen zu einem neuen Sozialverhalten an. Wenn der Abstand gepflegt wird, gibt es bei den Einkaufskassen in Supermärkten kein Rennen mehr, wer als erster drankommt, weil sich ja niemand mehr vordrängt.
Somit stellt sich das Kunstprojekt „for distance“ in den Dienst der Gesellschaft und ihrer Gesundheit. Denn durch das Auftragen von bunten Mustern in den Abständen von 8 Metern und Feldern von 4 Quadratmetern kann sich bei dieser Abstandsregelung niemand mehr anstecken.
Auf der Simonhöhe in Kärnten werden am 5. 1. 2021 auf einer Schipiste im Ausmaß von 400 x 50 Metern, also auf einem Schneefeld von 20.000 Quadratmetern, 160 unterschiedliche geometrische Felder von Graffiti-Künstlern mit Lebensmittelfarben aufgesprüht. In die Mittelpunkte der Felder werden 123 lebensgroße Figuren gestellt. Das Ganze formt sich zu einem poetischen Skulpturen-Park und ergibt die größte Kunstinstallation des Jahres.
„for distance®“ ist die Grundlage für mögliche Projekte im öffentlichen Raum, auf großen Plätzen, in Stadien, auf Parkplätzen bei Einkaufshäusern, Flughäfen, Messehallen und dergleichen mehr, wo sympathisch und selbsterklärend großzügige Abstandshaltung erwirkt werden soll. Künstler gestalten die Felder und somit entstehen unendlich viele Muster, welche tapetenähnlich die Flächen überspannen.
Die Weltpremiere von „for distance®“ ist ein Gruß voller Lebensfreude, Hoffnung und Vernunft an die ganze Welt.
